How to create a rewards email in a Klaviyo Flows?

What is a Klaviyo Flows?

First, let's take a look at what a flow is and how it can benefit your business. A flow is a sequence of automated actions, which can include email and SMS messages, that is triggered when a person performs a specific action — such as when someone joins a list, is added to a segment, makes a purchase or abandons their cart. Any data syncing to your Klaviyo account can be used to trigger and target automated flows - like a rewards email.

For example, you could create a flow that sends an email to customers when they abandon their cart. Or, you could create a flow that sends a series of welcome emails to new subscribers.

Klaviyo flows are an important part of the Klaviyo platform because they allow you to automate your communications and personalize your messages. With Klaviyo, you can create highly targeted and personalized flows for each segment of your audience.

Now that we've covered what a flow is and how it can benefit your business, let's get started on creating a rewards email flow in Klaviyo.'

Creating a Klaviyo Rewards Flow:

Creating a rewards email flow is easy with Klaviyo. To get started, log into your account and click on the "Flows" tab. Then, click on the "Create Flow" button.

On the next page, you'll be asked to choose a trigger for your Klaviyo flows. For this example, we'll choose "When someone makes a purchase."

Now, it's time to add an email to your flow. To do this, click on the "Add an Email" button.

On the next page, you'll be able to choose a template for your email. For this example, we'll choose the "Reward" template.

Once you've chosen a template, you'll be able to customize your email. Be sure to personalize your message and include relevant information such as the customer's name, their purchase history, and how many points they've earned. We recommend using point reward systems like LoyaltyLion, Joy, or Smile: Loyalty & Rewards, which integrate easily into Stamped.io, Recharge and other Shopify apps.

When you're finished customizing your email, click on the "Save & Exit" button.

Now, it's time to test your flow. To do this, click on the "Test Klaviyo Flow" button.

On the next page, you'll be able to enter the email address of the person you want to test your flow on. For this example, we'll use the email address of a Klaviyo customer who has made a purchase or you can send a preview to yourself.

Once you've entered the email address, click on the "Send Test" button.

If everything looks good, it's time to turn on your flow. To do this, click on the "Activate Flow" button.

And that's it! You've now created a rewards email flow in Klaviyo. Congratulations!
